How to Make the Most of your Video
Most likely the reason you created a video was so you could help others. You may offer tips or a solution to a problem with each video you create. Once they watch the video they go to your site to see how you can further assist them with the problem in the video.
The ideal thing to do is have others embed your video on their site or blog. Since this is one of the keys to success for your business and video, it’s important you prepare your video so it will work for you no matter where it is located online.
When you set up your channel on YouTube you should list your website and give a brief description of your business. It’s also a good idea to list keywords that are relevant to your business and the videos you’ll be recording. While it is important to add such information to your channel, some people don’t look at that or they may not even make it to your channel when it’s embedded in a site.
With that said, it’s important you mention your business name and web address at least once on your video. You’d be better off mentioning it three or four times, but it depends on the length of your video. It may be better to mention it in the beginning of your video and then again at the end before you finish.
Marketing your videos will be beneficial to you when you have this contact information inside your video and on your YouTube channel. Your video will work for you instead of against you when it comes to your marketing techniques if you include the contact information in it.
It’s important you have a way for your viewers to contact you in your video. If you don’t mention your website or other contact information they’re not going to know this and you’ll lost business and that’s not what you want. You may spend a lot of time creating and recording your videos and in turn losing business because you neglected to add one of the most important key elements, your contact information.
